Gift Exchange Party
I Wanted to share pictures from the gift exchange party I went to the other night and show you all the goodies that were exchanged..
My friend Lisa found this adorable chalk board easel at Hobby Lobby and dressed it up with a fresh herb wreath that she made. I just love how it turned out and it will look so cute sitting on my black hutch with all my white dishes!
Another cute friend, Kim made this adorable Mistletoe sign...I love the all white and gold. I can't wait to put this out!
Camila made these little holiday jars....inside are paper clips that you attach a special photograph to.
A cute burlap table runner trimmed with lace and a pinecone garland were added to our pile of goodies. Trisha who made the pinecone garland told us a scary story about her pinecones...she ordered them online from a guy in Colorado. After she received the box, Trisha stored them in her laundry room and later that day she found a black widow running around but didn't think it was from the box of pinecones. A day or two later she got out her box to work on her pinecones and noticed LOTS of spiders coming out of the pinecones!! Trisha hates spiders and was screaming and dropping pinecones everywhere..she said she had to get her hubby to throw them outside and shake them to make sure all the spiders came out! OOOH I would have freaked out!
Crystal made this patchwork Christmas tree for each one of us! It had to have taken a lot of time to sew up eleven of these! Once she sewed them all up she then had to make wooden frames to stretch them over. Crystal bought herself a new tool.....a staple gun! She said it was the best investment ever!
Kirsten Krayson whom you may remember was a guest blogger on my blog HERE she made these adorable clay gift tags and added in some bakers twine to string them with and they are Soooo very cute they will be adorable on my all my packages!
Heather had a hard time dipping these spoons in rubber paint..she said the first time she did it and left them to dry...when she came back they had all kinds of bubbles in them and she had to strip all the paint and try it again. The next time it pooled at the bottom ...she was frustrated as you can imagine and had to strip them again! Then she found another type of rubber paint from an automobile parts store and dipped them again and finally it worked!
Here we are at Kirsten's darling house..you can see the red pillows I made :)
Crystal is explaining how she made the patchwork Christmas Tree.
We just really Enjoyed our Girls night out!
