Herb butter recipe with cute free downloadable gift tags for neighbor gift

I have been making herb butter and Cranberry orange butter to give as neighbor gifts this year and I am so happy with how they have turned out. I didn't have to bake a million cookies and I was looking for something savory and unique and this was the perfect thing!
The tags and baking twine just finish the cute butter logs off perfectly. You can find these super cute gift tags on Lia Griffith blog she has sooo many cute things to download and print at home you really should check out her blog! These tags are on a PDF that allows you to change the names on the to and from!! They are hosted on world label ready to edit and print off from a PDF file how nice is that!
The herb and cranberry orange butter are just about the easiest things to make in your Cuisinart!
I used butter from Costco because they had the best price on butter. I used 4 sticks at once in my Cuisinart mixed with fresh herbs. I used about 1/4 cup chopped Thyme and Rosemary but you can use whatever combination you like. You can't go wrong with fresh herbs of any combination.
For the Cranberry Orange butter I used about 1/2 cup or more of fresh cranberries, 1 tsp of orange rind, 1 Tbsp orange juice, 1/4 cup of powdered sugar and mixed it in the cuisinart and it turned the pretty pink color.

Christmas Tree Napkin Fold Tutorial and video

I love this cute napkin fold for Christmas! You may have seen it on my Winter wonderland tablescape that I did last week...it just makes the place setting look a little more special.
I start with a square napkin
Fold in half
fold in half again to make a square
You will end up with a triangle that has layers
Next...flip over and fold each side of the triangle to the opposite side one over the other.
It becomes a bundle.
Flip over once again so you can see the layers of the Christmas tree.
Fold in each point of the layers underneath each other
Once all the points are folded inside you are done!
You can add a candy cane or a small chocolate for an "ornament" for your guests.

Walking in a Winter Wonderland tablescape

I call this my Walking in a Winter Wonderland Tablescape
I just love using bright colors like lime green, red, pink and turquoise at Christmas!
It makes me feel like I am on a Winter Wonderland walk in the neighborhood seeing all the pretty lights.
Setting the Winter Wonderland Tablescape
I set this tablescape using my basic rattan chargers because it brings texture to the table.
I always use white dinner plates.
I think food looks better against a white background.
Don't you agree?
To bring in a little Christmas color I added fun lime green and red Christmas tree salad plates.
I have had these lime green and red Christmas salad plates for years but I will link to some similar ones below.
I bought them when we lived in Texas and I just LOVE them!
Christmas Tree Napkins
I folded red cloth napkin into a Christmas tree and placed a candy cane on top.

Goblets
Green goblets were from Pier 1 a few years ago that I bought on clearance for $1.99 ea!! They work all year long for me.

Decorating the Chandelier
I used fresh pieces of garland strung through my chandelier and hung a few ornaments from the chandy as well.
Winter Wonderland Tablescape Centerpiece
For this centerpiece I simply placed an evergreen wreath around a multi colored bottle brush tree.
To bring a little more whimsy I added some bright colored Christmas tree place card holders to surround the wreath.
Decorating the sideboard
Over on the side of the kitchen nook I have a white sideboard and I decorated it with a few Christmas decorations. One of which is the darling letter board with cute red truck holding a Christmas tree.
Decorating the Chalkboard
Hanging over by my sideboard I have a big chalkboard. My talented daughter Madeline chalked this adorable Walking in a winter wonderland snowman for me!
I wish I could write well but alas it is not my talent.

I have had so much fun making these adorable
Christmas Cupcake toothpicks this year!
I made some for my Niece's Unicorn and Mermaid baby shower! I will show that shower tomorrow it really turned out amazingly cute!
I actually made these for my sisters Craft Fair she is going to!
I love how they turned out in the pastel pink, green gold and red.
Even the girl at the UPS store wanted to buy some when I went to ship them to my sister!
I am thinking of starting to sell them myself.....what would you be willing to purchase a set of 12 for?

Crusty Bread Recipe from Simply So Good

Oh my gosh this bread is AHH MAZING And super easy to make! My daughter brought this over last Sunday for dinner and she made not one but two different flavors.
The recipe comes from Simply So Good and only has 4 ingredients but Madeline made one of the loaves with orange rind and craisins and the other one she added rosemary, garlic and a little asiago cheese to it...Oh yeah...uh huh amazing!!
Crusty Bread (Overnight Rise)
3 cups unbleached all purpose flour
1 3/4 teaspoons Kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon Instant or Rapid-rise yeast
1 1/2 cups water
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, salt and yeast. Add water and mix until a shaggy mixture forms. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and set aside for 12 - 18 hours. Overnight works great. Heat oven to 450 degrees. When the oven has reached 450 degrees place a cast iron pot with a lid in the oven and heat the pot for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, pour dough onto a heavily floured surface and shape into a ball. Cover with plastic wrap and let set while the pot is heating. Remove hot pot from the oven and drop in the dough. Cover and return to oven for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes remove the lid and bake an additional 15 minutes. Remove bread from oven and place on a cooling rack to cool.
