Witchy Woman Halloween Tablescape

Halloween is just around the corner!
A couple of years ago I did this Witchy Woman tablescape and so I wanted to share it with you again.
First I took a witch hat and stuffed it with dish towels to make it stand up and added some faux berries and spider webs for color drama.
I used a golden colored tablecloth so the black would really pop.
Aren't these salad plates fabulous! Unique witch plates in fun colors..all different from each other set atop my black and white lettered plates. I used my gold charger plates flipped upside down with black side up for a great look! I love being able to use something in two different ways,
I used black napkins with a white berry wreath napkin ring
You can see the crow under glass and glass apothecary jar filled with black lettered porcelain balls for a haunting look.
This is one of my favorite ideas...take a white pitcher and wrap colored ribbons around it and hot glue in place. Remember when I did it here? Perfect idea for any holiday!
Use things from around the house to add dimension to your table. Take any glass jar and fill it with unique things...like baseballs, rubber and balls, even lightbulbs...random things massed together look fabulous!
I wish I still has this cute little triangular piece...it broke when we moved :(
Add spider webbing to your Halloween table also add a little sparkle...I used this silver Christmas candle holder and it just works!
Think outside the box as you create your Halloween tablescape to share a meal with family and friends.

And I am dying over these gorgeous cupcakes from Petites Passions These are Apple Cider cupcakes with Salted caramel butter cream frosting...ohhh they just sound amazing!
These placemats from Plenty Place have got to be the most original thing I have seen!! These are digital enlargements she made from a real clock! Amazing..go over to her blog and check out her tutorial on how to make them.

Fall 2012
The Centerpiece of my week has been this....
I have been working on my front porch...getting it all ready for fall! My daughter Madeline helped me so much. It is so fun having her live so close by.
We have fun!
I love all the colors of fall...they make me feel giddy inside! I think it is because fall represents the beginning of the holidays to me. I love Halloween and everything that goes with it..as a kid I couldn't wait for the show "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" to air on TV...our little TV..the kind that you would have to get up out of your chair to manually change the channel! Watching that show would get me so excited for Halloween and I always wanted to have a really fun Halloween party with all my friends!
During my elementary school days ...we lived back east in New Jersey...we weren't allowed to go trick or treating At night .....only during the day...so it fascinated me watching Charlie Brown and all the gang go trick or treating at night!
Living in New Jersey as a kid was magical...I remember going to many pumpkin festivals and eating candied apples! Drinking hot apple cider and eating cinnamon donuts, shopping for a cheapy costume with a plastic mask, asking for donations to be made to UNICEF while trick or treating, carving messy pumpkins, and watching The Great Pumpkin the night of Halloween not missing a single minute! The main thing I remember about this time of year as a kid was the colors of the leaves ....they were breathtaking even for a young child such as I.
So you see I love to decorate my house in all the colors of the season to bring back those sweet memories of a child living back east in a small town in New Jersey and waiting eagerly for the holidays to begin!
I think I am passing my love of Fall, Halloween and the holidays onto my precious granddaughter as she loves to squeeze the pumpkins and smell the flowers and wants to help in the whole process of creating a visual feast! But SHE is the visual feast for me :)
