The Style Sisters

Meet The Team

The Style Sisters Team is made up of women from all ages and stages of life and they are all my family!
We have over 100 years combined experience of
Decorating, DIY projects and cooking between all of us!
Even though we live in 3 different states we love to share ideas, tutorials,  recipes and party ideas through texts, emails and just gabbing on the phone. Each of us has our own Decorationg  and cooking style and preferences so I think you will enjoy seeing the variety of home decorating, Parties, Crafts and recipes here from smoothies to fabulous inexpensive DIY projects to amazing birthday parties filled with fun decorations and recipes.
Let me introduce you to the Team

I am Karin an empty nester that never has an empty nest! We have family, friends and acquaintances that come and stay with us often!  I love to have them here and I love to cook for them.
I love spending time with my family laughing, shopping, beaching, cooking and eating plus  spending time creating a new look for rooms in my house or any of my families!
My style of cooking is pretty much grilling, roasting and baking.
I love to cook with fresh colorful vegetables, lean meats,
fish and of course an amazing dessert to finish it off!
I think I am part Martha Stewart creative guru, Ina Garten chef mixed with Lucille antics and a Betty Rubble laugh!

Tiffany is my little sister and is seriously one of the funniest happiest people I know! I love spending time with her and wish we lived closer to each other! Tiffany is currently serving as the Relief Society president in her ward...which keeps her very busy and involved with over 100 women! Plus she is mom of 5 kids, 4 boys and 1 daughter who happens to be serving an 18 month mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Washington D.C. Between running to her boys sports activities and attending to the women at church she also loves to decorate her home on a budget! Tiff uses bright pops of color in her home and creates everything from Roman shades to fun Wall art that costs pennies to make! Tiff's cooking style is using her crock pot and getting together with friends to make freezer meals! Easy yummy and filling for all those boys! I know you will love checking out all her DIY projects as well as her amazung freezer meals!

This is our cute mom Joan....her decorating style could be summed up in two words French Country! Mom loves all things feminine and pretty but always does things on a budget too! We love to go thrifting when we are together to find that awesome deal!! We recently did a makeover in her Master bedroom in soft greys with touch of pink and it looks gorgeous! Not only does my mom have high style but she is also an amazing chocolatier as well as a fabulous all around cook and loves to use unique ingredients for lots of flavor.
Mom started the love of cooking for me as a young girl.....I remember her always serving us a beautiful dinner and always entertaining guests.
Mom has her own chocolate business and sells delectable chocolate turtles where the caramel melts in your mouth and the lightly toasted nuts melt into the European chocolate to give your mouth the most amazing experience ever! Check out her website www.eatlotsachocolate.com and order some today!

One of Madeline's favorite chefs is Jamie Oliver who cooks using whole foods...nothing processed.
Madeline and her cute hubby have just recently finished re-doing their entire house! I can't wait to show you the before and afters of this place..starting with her kitchen...they just repainted the cupboards in a beautiful white, cemented her countertops and have painted, tiled, sewed almost everything in her home!
Madeline is an amazing young mom who loves yoga, photography and learning! Madeline is the mom of my 3 beautiful grandchildren with one on the way!  She is a super busy wife and mother to 2 boys and 1 girl and makes her home in Idaho. You will love her healthy recipes and all her DIY expertise she will inspire you to try new things!

Emily is my youngest daughter, fun loving, football fanatic, lover of delicious baked goods and smoothies!
We recently bought a nutribullet blender and now she is all about making healthy delicious smoothies. You will also see some amazing football food ideas from her on this blog...she is all about anything to do with football and loves to be creative with her football food presentations!
Emily will be getting married soon and I will be sharing all things about her wedding reception including pretty ways to serve hot dogs!! I know fun huh?! I am sure Emily will be getting into the swing of things as she begins her new life as a young married gal on a budget! Emily is a very funny sassy young gal who is trying new things! I know you will love seeing what she comes up and you will enjoy her sense of humor as she writes posts her on The Style Sisters.
