Easy peach crisp recipe made with frozen peaches! 

Last year our peach tree was loaded with peach and so we froze a ton of them. I made this super easy peach crisp recipe using my frozen peaches and pecans. It total there are only 9 ingredients! 

It is so good you will love it! 

We will be making it on repeat throughout the season as we have so many frozen peaches!

What is coastal grandmother style? 

You may be asking yourself what the heck is coastal grandmother style? If you haven't heard about it I am here to give you my take on it. It is right up my alley even though I don't live by the beach right now. 

Do you remember the movie "Somethings Gotta Give" with Diane Keaton and Jack Nicholson? The house in that movie and the clothing style of Diane Keaton are what is now known as coastal grandmother style.

I am a big fan! The phrase was coined by Lex Nicoleta a tiktok personality. 

The color palette is normally blue, white and some yellow but I really think pink should be included too! 

Coastal grandmother tablescape idea

I created a coastal grandmother tablescape using some thrift store rose themed napkins, white dinner plates, a big bouquet of pink roses, white lacy looking placemats, votive candles and of course sea shells!

I actually did it twice! Once indoors in my dining room that you can see below. The other was done outside on my patio. Wait until you see how it looked when the sun went down!

Crunchy French Toast Recipe

Easter Flower Baskets my new carpeting and 2 new recipes! 

I have been busy! Well I really have been busy but I didn't make the flower baskets my friends did! I am highlighting them from last weeks linky party! We did get new carpeting and I did try 2 new recipes! 

I noticed 5 of them created spring flower baskets all unique from one another. One used an old fishing creel, another a bird cage, one used a wooden basket and you won't believe the one that used a mildewed basket and what she did with it!

My new carpeting

We have lived in this house for over 11 years now. You might remember when we first moved in and I blogged about it here. 

The original carpeting started to bubble just a few years after it was installed. I had it stretched 4 times! It still bubbled so it was time for new carpeting. 

I am in love with how it looks! 

It brings in even more a beachy look now.

Have you ever heard of adding apple cider vinegar when making chocolate chip cookie dough? I hadn't either! I tried this new recipe and I have to say it is my new favorite recipe!

Since traveling to Italy lately we eat a lot of pasta and eggplant when we are there. I decided I wanted to try and recreate a dish we have eaten there. I think I nailed it! At least my hubby thinks so :)

Children's Easter table

Oh I almost forgot to show you how cute the grandkids Easter tablescape turned out! I wanted it to be whimsical and brightly colored. It was really easy to create using jelly beans and Lindt chocolate bunnies! 

I folded the napkins to look like bunny ears and I made a video showing how easy it is to make them.

 5 Ways to style girlfriend jeans

I put together some fun ways of how to style girlfriend jeans. 

Girlfriend jeans are super comfy because they are cut a little roomier through the hips and thighs. 

I really like these jeans because the hem hits right around the ankle and are tapered a little through the leg and ankle. 

Flowy blouse

I think flowy blouses that are tucked in a little bit create a pretty look. Plus it lets you show off a nice looking belt. 

If I wore the blouse untucked it would look "old ladyish" especially because I am short waisted. The top would hang down in a block not long enough to be a tunic and not short enough to look stylish so the tuck is the answer
