 Coastal grandmother tablescape styling

What is coastal grandmother style?

You may be asking yourself what the heck is coastal grandmother style? If you haven't heard about it I am here to give you my take on it. It is right up my alley even though I don't live by the beach right now.

Do you remember the movie "Somethings Gotta Give" with Diane Keaton and Jack Nicholson? The house in that movie and the clothing style of Diane Keaton are what is now known as coastal grandmother style.

I am a big fan! The phrase was coined by Lex Nicoleta a tiktok personality.

The color palette is normally blue, white and some yellow but I really think pink should be included too!

Coastal grandmother tablescape idea

I created a coastal grandmother tablescape using some thrift store rose themed napkins, white dinner plates, a big bouquet of pink roses, white lacy looking placemats, votive candles and of course sea shells!

Click to see the entire tablescape on my Karins Kottage blog here

I actually did it twice! Once indoors in my dining room that you can see below. The other was done outside on my patio. Wait until you see how it looked when the sun went down!

Flowy wide leg Palazzo pants

Another fun thing about Coastal Grandmother style is flowy pants! If you don't have a pair you need to get some fast! I found these fun black and white Palazzo pants that are so fun to wear and so comfortable. Palazzo pants are easy to style too, I have styled them 5 ways here.
