Emily and Kevin's quick countertop fix!

Our newleyweds Emily and Kevin have been fixing up their cute love nest! Emily did not like the laminate countertops or the color of the back splash so she painted the countertops with black chalkpaint and the tile with grey paint and wow it looks amazing!

Oh and check out their new dog...Sage...she is a St. Bernard!

Then BAM after the paint!

Here is what she used..Rustoleum chalkboard paint...3 coats let dry In between coats.

Then she waxed and buffed to protect the paint finish.

Emily says she loves them and are holding up great! She makes sure to use a cutting board so as not to scratch the paint with sharp knives.

I love how it looks!!
