I put my old sewing machine cabinet out on my porch and placed a wicker basket filled with pumpkins on it.
Around our front door I hung garlands of fall leaves and hung the wreath on the door. More recently I decided not to use the garland but I used corn stalks and pumpkins on the porch
I love using corn husks on my porch mixed with yellow mums and lanterns filled with large candles and fall leaves.
Here is one cute "pumpkin" this was actually taken 2 years ago...I am planning on doing some of these fun things on my porch this year! Have you seen my tutorial on how to make a Simple pumpkin Topiary..it is easy and fast

DeleteIt all looks so lovely and cozy...isn't fall such a wonderful time of year? The majority of my fall decorations did not make the cut for our cross-country move earlier this year, so I am having to slowly rebuild a new collection. Thank you for all the inspiration! Enjoy your day! :)
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain I got rid of a ton of Halloween decor over the summer and now I'm totally regretting it :( it's tough when you move or downsize and have to lighten up things isn't it... But then there is the upside.... Shopping and starting fresh :) start with cheap things like corn husks and pumpkins they just make me smile :)
