Beach Cottage Burlap and Turquoise Fabric Runner
By The Style Sisters - Thursday, June 24, 2010
I am having so much fun making table runners!
I just finished making this beautiful burlap and linen cream and turquoise runner with pleated ends.
I think it totally has that beachy cottage look to it!
It is casual and elegant at the same time.
The runner measures 18"wide and 70"Long.
The center area is fully lined with white cotton and measures 54" long with 8" pleated ends.
It is perfect for a dining room table, kitchen table, sideboard or even outside table.
I would spot clean it or dry clean it so it will always look nice.
I found these adorable dragon fly napkin rings at Pottery Barn on clearance.
I have this table runner listed in my Etsy shop for $40.00 check it out here
I can make custom orders to fit your table. Just email with your dimensions.

You know I don't really like burlap and I have seen several projects in blogs that I have not warmed to but this is really beautiful! The blue softens it and it's really pretty! Way to go :D
ReplyDeleteReally cute, lovin' burlap and your ruffles look great!
ReplyDeleteKarin, your table runner is just lovely! I don't have the sewing gene or I would be whipping one up! Joni
ReplyDeleteI've never really been able to figure out how to make a table runner look - how long should it be, how wide, scrunched or not scrunched - It looks so pretty on your table.
ReplyDeleteI really love your table runner. It looks relaxing and romantic.
ReplyDeleteCute table...love the napkin rings.
ReplyDeleteVisiting from Just a Girl's party. I love the good width you put on your runners -- it looks terrible when runners are scrimpy, don't you think?
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend.

Hi Karin,
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to stop by and say how beautiful I think your runner is! You've displayed it perfectly, the fabrics/textures are great, and the colors are so cool and soothing!
Hi, Karen...I love your pretty runner. Burlap is so in right now and the beachy look, too. I love that you combined them..

This is very pretty even though I'm not in love with burlap. I think you've softened it quite nicely.
ReplyDeleteJust got back from Girl's Camp, perfect weather, didn't need the boots for rain or snow, but they kept our feet really clean. Hate coming home and taking the socks off to see black feet. Love the runner. It took my breath away. the blue fabric is beautiful and so unique mixed with the burlap. Have a great Sunday. I can't wait to sleep in a real bed!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love the burlap with that fabric, and those little dragonfly napkin rings are adorable! =D
