On a side note....I just want to thank each and every one of you for all your sweet messages regarding the death of my brother. I have passed on these messages on to all of our family members. You all have truly lifted our spirits. :)
His funeral had 800 attendees!
It was a true celebration of his joyful life.
There was laughter and tears and total peace and comfort.
Many heartfelt thanks to you all!

  3. Karin ~ So glad to see you posting again - I know it's been a tough adjustment and I'm glad you and you're family have been supporting each other. It sounds like he was truly a blessing to everyone. And the funeral had 800 - that's amazing - just a testament to the kind of person he was. I pray the Lord gives you all strength and grace during this holiday time. I know with the loss of 3 of my family members in the last year that this first Thanksgiving without them was really tough, so I understand...

  4. You have been in my thoughts and prayers. My sister (brian cancer)had over 500 at her funeral ~ 800 is huge! (I hope the ward had lots of helpers prepare food.:)
How could ever go through losing a loved one without the gospel? I pray his family will be sustained in the weeks following. Cancer is such a n ugly desease. My BIL is going in for cancer surgery this next week on his fmur bone. He has had renal lung cancer. We never know where it will hit him next. He is in in fifties.
Much love to you and to your family!
    Many blessings~♥
