We had a blast the other night with our grandkids making mini pizza's!
They really got into the process of creating their masterpieces!

We started with Rhodes roll dough and let them thaw until the rolls were soft and ready to be formed. A jar of yummy spaghetti sauce and lots of veggies for the kids to use to create faces on their pizzas. We used peppers, olives, grape tomatoes, thinly sliced red onion, pepperoni and ham slices and of course shredded cheese!

Even Lou the 2 1/2 yr old got in on the process!!

I loved how they used their imagination to create these cute faces!
I encouraged them to use small pieces of vegetables to make hair or eyebrows and thin slices of onion for mouths or "wrinkles"

Proof is in the "pizza" they loved them and gobbled them up as fast as I could get them out of the oven!

Watch our live action video of the mini pizza making process! LOL

This is a tradition in our family and I have done this with my kids, nieces and nephews and neighbors and all the kids love it! In fact some of my nieces and nephews now in their 20's say that it is one of their favorite memories...coming over to Aunt Ree Ree's (my nickname) and making little pizzas's.
