Welcome to "Boot Scoot Boogie" Centerpiece Wednesday!
For todays Centerpiece I put together a 'boot-i-ful" Country Western idea for you. Ok I know enough of the "boot" play on words but I can't help myself!
Borrowing my son-in-laws current Cowboy boots and the cowboy boots of his youth I created this fun cowboy boot centerpiece.
I put glass vases down inside the large (size 12) boots and placed the flowers to look like I went out onto my ranch and cut them from my sprawling garden..Instead I moseyed on down to the big box store Wal-mart and bought them. I did only pay $3.00 for each bunch so that was nice.
I wish I had some big roses growing right now but mine are puny.
I used a combination of deep pink and peachy colored roses that work with the colors of the tablecloth. It is a "Bootie-licious" cowboy boot centerpiece.
After I placed the "floral Boots" on the table...it just needed something extra...so I grabbed this fun little garage sale candelabra that my mom found for me that has fun crystals hanging off of it and plopped it on the table...
There is just something about worn leather and frou frou crystals that make me smile. It is like Ralph Lauren meets up with Audrey Hepburn hahah I think I like that! Someone should make a movie about that!
I love how this this photo of the cowboy boot centerpiece turned out.
The lovely soft roses mixed with the worn leather and the floral tablecloth just scream "Boot Scoot Boogie"
Now all I need to do is get me a rockin pair of Cowboy boots!
Please link up to Centerpiece Wednesday and share anything you feel has been the Centerpiece of your week...whether it is a recipe, a furniture re-do, a fun craft, or a great centerpiece...link up and share!
I am off to go shopping for boots!

Hi, Karin! "Boot Scootin' Boogie" is one of my favorite dancing tunes. I used to take country western line dance lessons back in the 90s, and couldn't get enough of it!!! I really like the way you have married rough and soft features. It reminds me of the Garth Brooks song "Cowboys & Angels"! The candelabra really gives it a pretty & unique boost. My western-inspired table won't go up until next week, but I have sure enjoyed putting it together. I know you had to, too! Aren't we glad we didn't listen to "Mama, Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys"? :-)

I have planted flowers in shoes and strategically placed them around the garden, but it never would have occurred to me to use any type of footwear as a centerpiece. Love it!
